Why Verity?
Component Solution Services, LLC, a Michigan-based components company, started in 2002. Beth Ann (accounting) and Bill Verity (R&D) joined the company in 2011. The company was purchased in 2015 by Beth Ann and Bill, registered as an Indiana LLC and received a new FEIN. The company is located at 56600 Twin Branch Drive, Mishawaka. The building has an R&D section and a testing bay.

Quality is at the core of
what we do at Verity®
Quality means many things in business. At Verity, it is all-encompassing. We focus on three vital elements. First is developing products that meet needs, are easy to install, and will stand the test of time. Second, the form and function needs of the OEM, Fleet, and End-user must be met simultaneously. Third, when an issue arises, being a proactive part of the solution while protecting the OEMs and Fleets.
Company Culture
The term "Verity Way" refers to our culture, which does not focus on our bottom line. However, the focus is on our product performance and how we serve our different layers of customers.
We are not Big Box or Internet-saturated.
Our market penetration is controlled for a good reason. First and foremost, we do not want to compete with our OEMs and Fleets. Our Verity website has information on operations, manuals, tech drawings, and software downloads. Fleets and End-users use our parts portal for easy access to parts. www.librv.com The site is simple by choice, and our customers want to get in and out. If questions arise, they are answered by knowledgeable people. All parts portal orders in by 2 pm EST will go out the same day.
If you sell to everybody, you are no longer unique to trucking.
Verity's R&D is working on tomorrow's issues today
Verity saw the desire for an HD 1080P system. Our R&D developed a monitor that can handle 1080P/720P/CVBS multiple signals and even mixed inputs. Our new MKS7-7 is also equipped with VCOMDC to allow for the required power for HD LCD screens. Without such a monitor, the infield repairs will be hindered and old 720p cameras would have to be replaced.

Distinctive Product Development
Bill Verity and his R&D team are part of a collective of global engineers who pool resources to develop products. The R&D team works to adapt global products to operate in the North American markets, meet DOT and NHTSA regulations, and comply with FCC regulations. This collaboration allows us to bring new technologies to market cost-effectively. The European markets have a strong influence on Asian products. Knowing these influences helps us develop our products.

We have never missed an order in 12 years.
Beth Ann is constantly looking for ways to improve processes for customer satisfaction. How we process an order allows us to always be ready to ship that order within the limitations of the confirmation. She looks for everything that can possibly go wrong, then does everything possible to make sure it doesn't. Sometimes depending on factories and shippers can be disappointing no matter how well we plan or what they promise. When that happens, we do our best to alert you as soon as the issue becomes known.
Operations
Operations is where Verity’s unique business objectives set us apart. Our corporate office in Mishawaka operates as R&D, Final Product Inspection, Final Assembly, and Shipping. The majority of our products are produced in China and Taiwan. Our products are ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) and are built to Verity standards. All factories are ISO 9001 certified. By building Verity products to our specifications, we know how our products function and can more easily and quickly suggest the best solution to an OEM or Fleet.
Our relationships are not those of suppliers (our factories) or buyers (Verity). The relationship always starts with a vetting process, a review of production processes, and products currently made at a factory. Then Verity works with the factories at the engineering and production levels to ensure a clear understanding of expectations. It often takes 1 to 1 1/2 years to set up a new factory. It is a time-consuming collaboration. Thus, Verity operations are not just ordering products; it is the daily involvement in the factories/production. When a new product needs to be developed, our broad reach into many tier-one factories ensures Verity the fastest resolutions.
Our international conveyor belt of products: We have ships that leave every Wednesday. Often, orders picked up as late as Saturday will be on Wednesday's ships. Ellen, one of our staff in China, is charged with checking samples and pulling products from the production line then overnighting them for us to inspect first-hand. The true testament to Verity's efficiency was when ships were waiting 21 weeks to dock and unload, our shipments were still 5-6 weeks from the factory in China to our warehouse.
"First Articles" ensure product continuity: All inbound products meet first article examples. We are constantly improving products when needed, most often without change or impact on production lines. OEM engineers at the factories are always supplied with product change notices. The First Article information is in every proforma.
What R&D is to Verity: a process backed by science, an unbounded process not restricted by time, an everchanging roadmap, and oftentimes the final destination is not what was expected. Many of our most significant new products were found in our R&D department when we thought beyond the expected norm.
Quality Management
At Verity®, we prioritize quality above everything else. When we first started, we were known for providing the highest quality products in the market, albeit at a slightly higher price point. However, over time, the market shifted to prioritize cheaper products, and the focus became on producing goods at the lowest possible cost. Despite this trend, Verity did not compromise on the quality of our products. Instead, we worked closely with our factories to develop a partnership process that would help us reduce production costs without sacrificing quality. By eliminating outdated processes that often resulted in lower-quality products, we were able to reduce prices while also cutting issue rates by over 65%. This allowed us to maintain our commitment to quality while also providing our customers with affordable products.
By the following Verity processes,
we don't manage risk...

we eliminate it.
An example how we eliminate it.
Prior to placing any order for a build, we prepare a comprehensive build document that ranges from 60 to 136 pages in length. This document outlines every detail of the entire build process, including what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, and how it should be done. Any recent modifications or updates are highlighted on the second page. These documents are created to coincide with the "First Articles,," which are often updated due to ongoing system improvements. The build sheets are updated accordingly to reflect any changes and are then signed and stamped with the company's stamp of approval. An inspection criterium is also supplied at this time.
Production Run Communications
Verity has trained staff at the factories, which frequently check on production. If something seems different, they have virtual calls, and samples are sometimes "tagged, bagged, and sent hot" to the Mishawaka R&D.
Two random of a run's first 24 systems overnighted to Mishawaka, IN R&D
These first samples allow Verity to check components, workmanship, heat tests, power tests, burn tests, and a long list of Verity proprietary specs. Any issue can be corrected in the order before we arrange the final pre-shipment inspection.
Pre-shipment Inspections
Two different pre-shipment inspections are performed simultaneously, one by a third-party inspection firm (we randomly use one of four different ones). These third-party inspections (image link below to the left) are how we can defend our products in court. The second is by our staff (image link below to the right).
The testing below was an order of 600 "S" series systems on April 1-2, 2024
Manufacturing
Verity is a registered brand name in Asia. We operate with all contracts written for Asian courts by our Asian attorneys. Some of our staff are in Asia and work closely with our staff here in the US. We use an American-based work network. Verity employs 4 different inspection laboratories to complete pre-shipment inspections.
Verity does not pull products into the USA,
We push products into the USA.
The Verity process works.
An issue rate of 0.020 percent of electrical components.
That is 1.00 possible defects in every 5000 electronic components.
0% failure rate in cables
0% percent failure rate in mounts
We have not missed an order date in 12 years.
As the CTO, I am proud to say the following:
I have a wife and granddaughter I love to spend time with,
I love the downtime I have to restore the last Verity Skiff ever made, and I am often in church on Sundays.
The phone number on every manual rings
on my cell phone when I am not at my desk.
I sleep well at night.

Growth Plans in Place
Verity has been planning our subsequent growth. With overseas manufacturing, there are many factors needed to ensure a problem-free expansion. Our staff and lawyers did their research. Then V-Trust and Waltek performed factory audits and SMETA audits.
This plan does not rely on any new suppliers. We are in the process of a "re-boot" - a reintroduction our oldest supplier, our “C” series. With all new products we will offer our “D” series. Verity has used this issue-free factory for over ten years. This factory scores an A+ rating in every audit. The “D” series engineers and owners spent the week of 3/25 at our facility working with our R&D team.
Using one factory to produce products across many OEMs allows for zero competitiveness. Currently, we have three separate factories producing Complete Monitor/Camera System products. Some of the systems we ship are privately labeled. Having multiple factories allows for market competition. Each has a different form and function. For example, Penske mainly uses the “S” series and Ryder the “J” series. We have other factories that specialize in our other systems. Those factories also go through our vetting process, and we work with them to improve those products to the Verity standards.
Factory Overviews by Series:
The "S" series factory collaborated with Verity to develop this product line. The project aimed to maintain quality while offering a commodity price to customers. Some operational changes were necessary to achieve these goals. Surprisingly, with two R&D teams that had different knowledge bases, we were able to develop a winning product. The product is priced lower than most commodity systems but exceeds the desired quality levels.
This system was recently upgraded from a 2-camera to a 3-camera system with zero cost increase to our OEMs.
Production expansion available: 15,000 per month
The "S" series lineup includes the

The "J" series is designed for general use and specialty vehicles, making it ideal for trucks with power maintenance issues and semi-trucks. For the past 4 years, every Snap-on truck has used the "J" series along with our MDVR.
Verity developed a buttonless monitor for US Venture. Beth Ann's team handled the logistics for a 500+ retrofit on Ryder trucks. This product is now being installed on original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) as well. Even though we have been offering this product for several years, we continue to update it. This buttonless monitor is just one example of the many projects the "J" series factory has ODM'd.

Long-time "C" Series Becomes New and Improved "D" Series
3-28 24 Completed a third party factory and socail audit. Recieved A+ score.
The new "D" series represents an innovative and exciting product line that takes automated production to the next level. It is the result of our longstanding partnership with one of our oldest factories. Our teams are aligned for the future, and we believe that Verity can meet tier-one OEM needs. To the right is the North American market head. She and her CFO and R&D members came to the USA to meet with us so we could complete ongoing projects. The interaction of R&D teams working on projects together is part of the Verity difference. This supplier can produce for Verity 65,000 units per month.
Our production capacity is 65,000 units more per month.

Verity prides itself as
OEM and Fleet integrator
Our system starts at the OEM, is sold to a fleet provider, and then to the end user. Then, there is the maintenance facility that fixes the damage done to our systems. We consider our system's lifespan and have the best service for each aspect in place. We are a preferred Ryder Vendor (link to Ryder support portal) and have handled the system logistics for many retrofits of 500+ trucks size. We designed a new buttonless monitor for US Venture, a Ryder Fleet, and this system is now being installed at the OEM level.
Many Penske facilities use a parts portal to get the parts to fix Verity and competitor systems. Currently, some Amazon trucks are replacing competitor’s cameras with our wide-angle C305 camera.
Your name is on the truck, ours is on the monitor,
and we protect them all.
